Second Half Struggles for Warriors leads to Defeat Against Cerritos

CERRITOS, Calif. - El Camino College was only down 1-0 at the half before conceding four goals in the second half to drop a 5-0 decision on the road at Cerritos College.

The Warriors (7-7-5, 2-3-3) gave up an early goal in the first two minutes against Cerritos (16-1-2, 6-0-1).  The Warriors had three shots on goal saved in the first half.

However, the Falcons came out strong in the second half and were able to score four more goals in the game.

Brandon Cardenas started in net for the Warriors and made 10 saves.  

El Camino College was outshot 20 to 7 for the game.

The Warriors return home for the final game of the regular season on Friday against Pasadena City College.  The Warriors post-season hopes may hinge on the result of this important game.  Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM
