Kyle Murao recorded his second top-10 finish of the season as El Camino College finished fourth at the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Neutral Match No. 10 Wednesday at The Golf Club at Rancho California in Murrieta, Calif.

Murah posted a 4-over 76, tying his own team season-low score for the season as he finished tied for ninth place. Murao also posted a 76 on Feb. 14 at the Eagle Classic hosted by Mount San Jacinto.

The Warriors top performer finished 10 strokes back of medalist Kieran Blundell of MSJC as he dominated the courses with a 4-under 68. Jacob Montes of Palomar also scored in the red, carding a 2-under 70. Bobby Kim from College of the Desert placed third with an even-par 72.

Eugene Hernandez returned to action for ECC for the first time since the MSJC Eagle Classic, where he carded an 80. Hernandez had the second best score for the Warriors as he scored a 13-over 85 on Wednesday.

Overall, the Warriors finished fourth with a 426 as Cuyamaca did not have enough scores to qualify for the team standings. College of the Desert scored the win with a 17-over 377, edging Palomar by four strokes. Mount San Jacinto was third with a 383.

The Warriors will now have some time off before the teams return to action at the PCAC Championships on April 30. The site is now to be determined since The Golf Club at Rancho California is set to have its greens punched on April 30 and May 1.
