Men’s Basketball Suffers Setback at Compton

El Camino College had a rough shooting night from beyond the arc in a 110-71 South Coast Conference, South Division loss to Compton College on the road Wednesday night.

Justin Chambers led the team with 20 points on 6-for-13 shooting and hit three of the team's four 3-pointers on the night. The Warriors finished the night 4-for-21 from beyond the arc.

The Tartars also dominated the glass on Wednesday night, outrebounding the Warriors 49-27. The Warriors also turned the ball over 29 times in the loss.

Along with Chambers, Jamal Bogan was the only other starter to reach double figures as he dropped 16 points on the night. Jason Vasquez added 18 points in 26 minutes off the bench.

The Warriors will face L.A. Harbor on Friday night to finish off their current three-game road swing in conference. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
