Bio

“Jonesy” is in his 10th year as an assistant coach for the Warriors in 2019. Jones served as an assistant coach for the Warriors from 2008-09, then returned to the roll in 2011.

Between coaching stints for the Warriors in 2010, he interned in the front office of the San Francisco Giants. In that role, he assisted in preparing scouting footage and data, helping the Giants to the 2010 World Series Championship.

Jones played for the Warriors in 2006-07 as a middle infielder. He was part of the 2007 conference championship, the team’s first in 19 years before transferring to Loyola Marymount University. 

He played high school ball at West Torrance, where he contributed to multiple league championships and trips to the CIF playoffs.

Jones where he graduated with a degree in Business Management from LMU before earning his Master's in Sports Management at the University of San Francisco.
