TORRANCE, Calif. --- El Camino College clinched its South Coast Conference series against East Los Angeles, 17-4, Thursday afternoon at Warrior Field.
Julio Camarena went 3-for-3 at the plate for the Warriors with three RBI and two runs scored. Daniel Murrillo also pounded out three hits as well with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.
Overall, the Warriors had 15 hits including three doubles.
Travis Connelly tossed four innings of scoreless relief for the Warriors and picked up his first win of the season. He allowed just two hits, walked one and struck out four.
The two teams will wrap up the series on Saturday at ELAC with first pitch set for noon.
