Baseball Takes Series from Cerritos

El Camino College scored the bulk of its runs in the span of three innings and secured a series victory with a 7-1 South Coast Conference win over Cerritos Saturday afternoon at Kincaid Field.
The Warriors (20-4, 8-3) got a strong outing on the mound from Aaron Orozco and a big day from Joseph Borges at the plate.
Orozco went eight innings and allowed just one run on three hits. He walked two and struck out seven to earn his sixth win of the season.
Borges went 3-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored and also stole a base. Spencer Palmer, Spencer Long and Orozco also recorded hits for ECC with Orozco and Long driving in two runs on the day.
The Warriors will return to action Tuesday afternoon as they stay on the road to take on Compton. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
