TORRANCE, Calif. - El Camino scored a season-high in runs in a 17-4 victory over Pasadena City College on Saturday afternoon at Warrior Field.

The El Camino College Warriors (18-3, 6-2) pounded out a new game-high fifteen hits and took advantage of three Pasadena City College (12-7, 4-4) errors in the route over the Lancers.

Every Warrior batter in the starting lineup had at least one base hit.  Ty Conrad led the offense with a 4-for-6 performance while scoring two runs and driving in two runners. Joseph Borges, Matt Beserra, and Taishi Nakawake had multi-hit games. Spencer Palmer was 1-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs.

Aaron Orozco was lights out for the first three innings and picked up the win after tossing six innings, giving up just one run on four hits, four walks, and striking out nine batters.  Julian Diaz tossed a scoreless inning in the seventh and Ian Brady finished out the final two innings.

The Warriors took an early 3-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back the rest of the game.  They scored in every inning but the fourth and eighth inning, including a huge seven running in the seventh where they sent eleven batters to the plate.

The Warriors have now won six straight conference games in a row after starting out conference play 0-2.  They have a three game series against Cerritos next (away, home, away). First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Tuesday, March 19th at Kincaid Field at Cerritos College.
