Warriors Dominate with Sweeps over Riverside, Cypress and San Diego Mesa

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College stayed undefeated on the year against community college competition and did so in impressive fashion, scoring three sweeps over Riverside, Cypress and San Diego Mesa Friday afternoon at the ECC Sand Volleyball Courts.

The Warriors (6-1) dropped just two of 32 sets they played on the day. They swept all five matches against Cypress while needing a third set in the No. 2 pairs match against Riverside to open the day and another three-setter in the No. 5 pairs match against the Olympians.

The team will return to action on Wednesday afternoon with a match against Grossmont at the ECC Sand Courts. First serve is set for 12 p.m.
