Beach Volleyball Hosts Cypress and Bakersfield in CCCAA Team Regionals
The El Camino College beach volleyball team has drawn the No. 4 seed in the CCCAA Beach Volleyball Southern California Regionals and will host No. 5 Cypress and No. 12 Bakersfield on Tuesday morning.
The Warriors finished the regular season with a 14-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the South Coast Conference. They finished second to Long Beach.
Cypress finished the year with a 13-7 overall record and 8-2 mark in Orange Empire Conference play. The Warriors and Chargers met March 9 at ECC with the Warriors pulling off a 5-0 sweep.
Bakersfield posted an 11-8 overall record with a 10-2 mark in Western State Conference play, which was second to Ventura. The Warriors and Renegades did not meet this season.
The CCCAA Beach Volleyball Regional will get underway Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Warriors taking on Bakersfield to kick things off.
The Renegades will then take on Cypress at the conclusion of the first match with the Warriors and Chargers facing off to finish off the day.
