Beach Volleyball Drops Finale to Long Beach

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. – El Camino College and Long Beach tangled in a tight contest to close out the regular season Friday morning but it was the Vikings that pulled out a 4-1 victory over the Warriors at Hermosa Beach.

The match was tightly contested as four of the five matches needed three sets to be decided. The Warriors took one of those matches but the Vikings scored the other three; two of them by just two points.

The Warriors finish the regular season with a 13-5 overall record and 3-3 mark in conference play with two losses coming to the Vikings.

The teams will now get set for the conference tournament, which is set to get underway on April 20.
