Warriors Roll to Pair of Victories

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. – El Camino College lost just one contest on Friday afternoon as the Warriors scored a pair of victories over Mount San Antonio College and Santa Ana College at Hermosa Beach.

The Warriors swept the Mounties in the opening match of the day and then defeated the Dons, 4-1, to finish the day 2-0.

In the first match of the day, the Warriors swept three of the five matches from the Mounties and took the No. 1 and No. 3 singles matches in three sets.

Against the Dons, the Warriors dropped the No. 1 singles match in straight sets but scored sweeps in the other four matches to secure their fourth and fifth straight victories. The Warriors are now 9-2 overall on the season.

The Warriors return to action on March 16 as they take on Rio Hondo at Hermosa Beach.
