Bio

Rafael Guerrero was hired as the full-time Sports Information Specialist at El Camino College on March 6, 2017. He is responsible for all media inquiries regarding the athletics program at ECC along with stats and website content for ECCWarriors.com. 

A stringer and then news room reporter at the Orange County Register, Rafael began his career in athletics as the sports information associate at El Camino College and worked there for three years on a part-time basis from 2011-14.  He moved on to join Cal State Fullerton as the Assistant Sports Media director in January 2014 where he was responsible for the complete publicity requirements for the baseball, women's golf and women's volleyball teams for three years before adding women's soccer and men's basketball in 2016-17. During his time at Fullerton, Rafael helped handle all media needs for the 2015 NCAA Baseball Regional at Fullerton. He also handled media needs for the Wooden Legacy Tournament hosted at Cal State Fullerton in 2015 and 2016. 

Rafael graduated with his bachelor of arts degree in Mass Communications in 2009 from Cal State Dominguez Hills and his minor was in English.
