Bio

Kim Jones was hired as the Strength and Condiditioning Coach at El Camino College in 2012. She is responsible for the athletic development of 14 Intercollegiate sports. Kim began her career in athletics in 2004 as the head Varsity Basketball Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Notre Dame Academy. She moved on to intercollegiate athletics in 2008 completing an internship within UCLA’s Athletic Performance program. From 2008-2010 Kim was an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and she was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Specialist at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) from 2011-2012.

In her time at El Camino College, Kim has worked directly with the following programs:

Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's Volleyball, Women's Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Men's Water Polo, Women's Water Polo, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Men's Golf, Men's and Women's Track and Field, Men's Swimming and Diving, Women's Swimming and Diving. 

Kim Jones is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a certified USA Weightlifting Club Coach (USAW) and an IFBB Pro (Figure) competitor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2001, and earned a Master’s degree at Loyola Marymount University in 2007.
