Mia Park - Swimming

Park was named the SCC Swimmer of the Year for the second straight year after dominating at the conference championships this weekend. She claimed three individual conference titles by sweeping he distance events (400 IM, 500 Free and 1650 free) while also claiming one relay title. She also set five new SCC meet records to finish her career with a total of seven SCC meet records after setting the marks in the 100 and 200 butterfly as a freshman. Park  started things off with the 500 free title, breaking the school record in both the prelims and finals. She finished in 4:57.29 in the finals after breaking the old record in the prelims that was set in 1999. It was also a new SCC meet record. Next came the 400 IM title as Park set a meet record with a time of 4:31.67. She capped off her individual success with the 1650 free title, setting a new ECC and SCC meet record with a time of 17:14.21. Park was also a member of the 200 medley relay SCC championship team and the 400 medley relay team that finished second and set a new school record.
